TGIF!

This week we've been ALL about the upcoming Tony Awards. The show starts at 8 p.m. on Sunday night (CBS).

Throughout the week, we've been picking Blumenthal President/CEO Tom Gabbard's brain on his thoughts about some of the big nominees. To round out our "Tom's Take" series, he talks about how Blumenthal Performing Arts is involved in a number of the nominated productions.

(Fun fact: Tom will be at the Tony Awards ceremony in New York City! He's been on the Board of Governors of the Broadway League since 2000 and has been a voter for the Tony Awards since 1997! He's acquired some hardware of his own as well as a co-producer/investor for Monty Python’s Spamalot, Thoroughly Modern Millie, La Cage aux Folles, RED, Pippin and Kinky Boots.)

Fingers crossed these shows get to Charlotte ASAP!

Good luck to all of the nominees!
